Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari a.s Said:

  • 1. A time is soon to come upon people when their faces will be cheerful and happy, but their hearts will be dark; the Sunnah of God will be considered innovation, and the innovation of God will be deemed Sunnah; among them, the believers will be deemed insignificant and the wicked honored; their scholars will be in the courts of oppressive rulers, and those who obey commands will be ignorant and tyrannical.

  • 2. The fool’s heart is in his mouth, while the wise person’s mouth is in his heart.

  • 3. Whoever rides on the back of falsehood will eventually fall into the pit of remorse.

  • 4. Do not engage in arguments and debates, or your dignity will be lost, and do not indulge in jest and mockery, or people’s audacity will increase.

  • 5. A believer is a source of mercy for other believers and a proof against the disbelievers.

  • 6. Your manners are sufficient when you abstain from what others dislike.

  • 7. There is a limit to moderation; if you exceed it, it becomes stinginess. There is also a limit to bravery; if you exceed it, it becomes recklessness.
  • 8. The one whose habit is righteousness, whose nature is generosity, and whose temperament is forbearance will have many friends.

  • 9. If God has guaranteed sustenance for you, do not let the pursuit of it hinder you from fulfilling your obligations.

  • 10. Be cautious! Avoid seeking power and fame because both lead towards destruction.

  • 11. The abundance of fasting and prayers is not worship; rather, contemplation and reflection on the commandments of Allah is worship.

  • 12. Laughing without wonder is a sign of ignorance.

  • 13. You have been granted limited years and counted days; death can come suddenly at any time. Whoever seeks goodness will find happiness and benefit, and whoever indulges in evil will regret. People will receive what they strive for.
