Hazrat Imam Ali Zain ul Aabdeen a.s Said
1. O Lord, whose direction those who turn towards your & you are turned to them, who bestows His grace and compassion through His blessings, and who, despite the obliviousness of those who are heedless of His remembrance, treats them with kindness and grace, drawing them towards His door with friendship and compassion.
- 2. People are resentful towards us for what reason? By the oath of Allah, we are in the lineage of the noble Prophet (peace be upon him), the abode of mercy, the embodiment of forbearance, and the centre of angelic arrivals and departures.
- 3. I recognized you through you, and you guided me towards yourself. If you had not called me, I would not have understood who you are?
- 4. By the oath of Allah, the abode of Prophet hood and the arrival of angels are with us. The Quranic verses were revealed about us, and we are the ones who showed the people of the world the path of guidance. If it were not for us, the Lord of the Worlds would not have created the world. Besides us, no one has any pride or distinction.
- 5. If people knew the value and importance of seeking knowledge, they would be willing to spill their hearts and livers for it, and they would search for it even in the depths of the world’s difficulties and the whirlpools of its oceans.
